How does the payment plan work?

We are a monthly subscription service. You’ll set up an automated credit card payment that bills on the same day each month. Your original rate will never change unless you cancel. No initiation fees, no BS.

What is your cancellation policy?

We don’t want to lock you into any sort of contract. You can cancel at any time before your subscription renews each month.

To manage your subscription, log in on the VTF home page, click My account, then click Subscriptions.

Do I need a gym membership to participate?

Nope! That’s why we made VTF At-Home. That being said, the more equipment you have available to you, the easier it will be to continue to progress. If you only want to work out at home, we suggest you purchase at least 2 pairs of dumbbells, a band, and a door frame pull-up bar. See our Getting Started page for more info.

How will I know if I’m doing the right technique without my coach there to watch me?

We design the workouts with your current level of fitness in mind to make sure we don’t give you exercises outside your ability. We also provide instructional videos for every single exercise so you can feel confident going into a new workout. We encourage our members to video themselves performing any challenging movements so they can compare their technique to the demonstrated technique. Our coaches will also review any videos submitted over email or through the TrainHeroic app and give feedback.

What if I can’t do the workouts or don’t like them?

If you can’t do specific exercises or don’t have the right equipment, you and your coach can make modifications. We write each workout program with your goal as the intended outcome. Although we want to make your experience as enjoyable as possible, you might have to do some things that are difficult in order to achieve the desired results. If you decide it’s still not for you, we can always move you to a different team with different workouts!

I’m just going to work out by myself. Do I need a team?

All of our members are part of a team with common goals and needs. We provide a platform for teammates to communicate and encourage each other. You can choose how much you want to participate.

I already have a routine that I’m looking to add on to. Do I have to do every workout in order?

We provide workouts and/or active recovery sessions for every day of the week, but you can choose how many you want to do. You can even do them on different days than they are scheduled! For example, a member might go to a spin class on Tuesdays/Thursdays and do VTF workouts on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays. We encourage you to experiment and find what works best for you. 

What’s different about VTF compared to “Becky’s 8-week Tone Up Plan” or “Chad’s 12-week Ripped Plan”?

You may be tempted to purchase one of these cookie-cutter workout plans where you receive a series of workouts you can print off and take to the gym with you. These plans will leave you high and dry with tons of questions, no support, no personal modifications, and no system to record your progress. VTF covers all of those bases. As a member of VTF, you are part of a team of peers who share common goals, are held accountable and guided by a coach, and are given the tools to be successful in achieving real results.
